“ Quiet store! The space was clean and organized! The service was kind and patient with our kiddos! The food was slow to come out, but that was fine because everything was hot and fresh when it came out. We ordered the pad Thai and yellow curry, and the mango sticky rice for dessert. We will be back! ”
“ We went on a weekday and were the only customers there. The service was amazing! It's a sweet family own restaurant. We ordered the yellow curry and the boat noodles. The portion is huge. The spice level is on point. We enjoyed our meal. ”
“ Delicious Chicken Penang and Pad Thai. Very nice flavor. I'm putting it on my Best Ever list. Great service. Super clean. Spotless bathroom. Highly recommend. We ordered without msg. The owner came out to make sure we were happy. YES! We will be back! ”
“ Cute little neighborhood Thai place. The flavors were really good and pretty close to authentic. The Tom Yum didn't look anything like a traditional Tom yum soup. It had more traditional veggies like red onion and tomato as opposed to Thai veggies and the broth was definitely tomato based but it tasted good and the extra veggies actually gave it a good flavor. The drunken noodles were pretty flavorful and medium spicy was on point. The pad Thai looked good and fresh but they didn't add peanuts or could have used more peanut sauce but still very fresh and flavorful. We were genuinely pleased with the mi. The wait staff was attentive and kind. A good place to dine in or take out. ”
“ I came here on a very busy night. We ordered online and waited the estimated 20 minutes the email suggested. I got there and was told their printer hadn't printed my order, so it was going to be another 20 minutes. That was a bit annoying, but whatcha gonna do. Finally got the food home and feasted. So many bright and delicious flavors. Everything was really yummy. The tom yum was on the verge of being too herby lol, but we still enjoyed it. Amazing curry. Everything else was great. I'd definitely eat here again, just hope they get the kinks worked out with their order system - call in to check on your order to be safe. ”
“ Came in and it was packed for a Friday night. Not the best part of town at night. Great price for the portions. It took awhile to get our food and orders in but we weren't in a rush and it was really busy. Kind waitress. It was just her so she was very busy. She was working really hard and was very friendly and sweet. Great customer service. I'm glad I came to check it out. I've been hearing such great reviews. It was good. We ordered crispy pork belly, chicken chow mein, papaya salad (thai and lao style) and drunken noodles. I can only rate my review based on the drunken noodles and papaya salad. They're vegetarian friendly. I felt their lao style som tum was more flavorful but not as potent as Laos style tum. The thai style was light and flavorful. I generally prefer Thai style, but in this case I preferred the Lao style as it had more flavor. I have a high tolerance for spicy foods. I asked for papaya salad EXTRA spicy and it was spicy, yet I could have handled more heat. But then again, my heat levels are call 911, make it burn, fire booty levels, lol. I would recommend having the papaya salads come out first before the main entrees. I'm interested to try more entrees in the future. Friends really like the thai tea. I also got to try the matcha tea milk tea on the house for our wait. It was really good and had a sweet smooth sweetness at the end like thai milk tea. Everything was good overall. Come try for yourself and support this local family owned spot. ”
“ U-D Thai is a south of Shaw gem with its authentic, mouth watering Thai dishes, served by friendly staff at an incredibly reasonable price! We ordered the pineapple fried rice, pad Thai, Panang curry, vege egg rolls and crab ragoon. Every dish was DELICIOUS. My only regret is not asking for more of the flavor-packed sauce that accompanied the egg rolls. The panang curry had a nice kick and not overly spicy at the mild spice level; I would recommend medium if you know how to handle your heat. The restaurant had plenty of seating, including a large table for a larger party and was impressively clean. Our total bill was $56 and fed the 4 of us well! We look forward to many more meals at U-D Thai! ”
